Kanye West Storms The Stage As Beck Beats Beyonce At Year Grammys
February 9, 2015
Beck might have thought he was going to collect his award for Album of the Year at this year's Grammys in peace, but little did he know there was a certain Kanye West waiting to ruin his moment.
Well, almost anyway.
Yep, Kanye decided to pull a Kanye at last night's big ceremony by mocking that unforgettable VMAs moment from back in 2009, where he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift's big win.
Luckily, this time the whole thing was just one big joke, as 37-year-old Kanye walked back off stage with a big smile on his face before he actually ruined another artist's exciting moment.
Oh Kanye, you big joker you.
Still, not everyone immediately noticed it was all a big prank though, with cameras showing the moment Kanye's BFFs Jay-Z and Beyoncé almost fainted/cry/pooed themselves in fear that Kanye was going to pull a Kanye AGAIN.
Just to add another level of #awks to the whole affair, Kim Kardashian, 34, later uploaded this photo of her reaction, along with that of John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen on Instagram.
Kim wrote alongside the photo: "This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!"
But was the stage-storming 'prank' actually not a prank after all?
Speaking to his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian at the E! After Show, Kanye launched into a typically-epic and slightly odd rant about Beck's win, saying: "We ain't gonna play with them no more. Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce.
"At this point - we're tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental music. You are disrespectful to inspiration."
Errrr, don't hold back there, Kanye!
Quick-thinking wife Kimmy did try and stop him from going absolutely crazy by telling presenters they were due to catch a flight to New York, but Kanye still kept going.
